Grindstone basins are large granite basins used to catch the output of grain being milled by two carefully adjoined grindstones placed together for a grinding action. Grindstone basins make wonderful water features because of the catch basin construction and pour spout. The majority of our grindstone basins were located in rural china and often still used today.
